Newcastle United will undergo a massive makeover this summer, which may result in some long-serving players leaving St James’ Park.
The Magpies have several players whose contracts are set to expire at the conclusion of the season, and it was recently reported that Eddie Howe will make judgements on who stays and who goes in the coming weeks.
Emil Krafth has already extended his stay on Tyneside, but it is unclear what will happen to club captain Jamaal Lascelles.
Paul Dummett, another Newcastle United player, has an expiring contract this summer, and there is now an update on what the future holds for the Geordie defender.
Paul Dummett to leave Newcastle United
According to journalist Joel Bland on X, Paul Dummett will leave Newcastle United this summer when his contract ends.
He claims that this will be the 32-year-old’s final season on Tyneside, since the club does not intend to offer him a new contract to stay at St James’ Park.
Dummett has played more than 200 games for Newcastle
