Lewis Ferguson is garnering a lot of attention as his performances for Bologna continue to impress, and AC Milan is apparently one of the clubs interested in him.
According to Calciomercato.com’s most recent update on Ferguson, Juventus is planning for the future of their midfield and believes that a significant investment will be made to enhance the department.
The Juve management has recently made touch with Ferguson’s agents, the 24-year-old Bologna midfielder who has 10 goal contributions (five goals, five assists) in the league and cup this season.
The Bianconeri have questioned specifically about his status and have already scouted him live in many games this season. Bologna values him at €25-30 million and could sell him in the summer.
They will only do so if bids corresponding with his value arrive and Juve faces competition, such as Atalanta, which has already opened talks.
According to the report, Milan and Napoli are also’extremely interested’ in the Scottish international, implying that he has a very strong Italian market.
The Rossoneri have been keeping an eye on Ferguson for quite some time. Back in March, we asked his agency about the interest, but he didn’t reveal anything. But one thing is certain: Milan scouts have watched both him and Joshua Zirkzee extensively.
