AC Milan are set to complete deal of 24-year-old star

According to Fichajes, AC Milan is looking to strengthen their defence ahead of next season, and the Italian club has set their sights on Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior. The 24-year-old is pondering leaving Arsenal and returning to Italy next season.

Kiwior rose to prominence with Spezia Calcio before joining Arenal for €25 million in the winter of 2023. Since joining the North London club, he has appeared in 31 matches but has not received enough minutes.

He has only played in 23 games and has accumulated just over 1,200 minutes of first-team football. The Polish center-back is dissatisfied with his limited playing time and is evaluating his future with the club.

Despite holding a contract until 2028, he could depart at the end of the season. Italian clubs have expressed an interest in his services.

AC Milan keen on Kiwior’s signatures

AC Milan has been interested in him for quite some time, and they are currently the top runners. They have been in close communication with the Gunners as both parties work to achieve an agreement on a trade.

The Milan-based team wants to sign him on a season-long loan with the option to buy. While Mikel Arteta’s team is willing to authorise his exit, they will not allow him to leave on loan until there is a commitment to buy.

Talks between the two clubs are set to continue in the coming weeks as they seek to finalise a deal. The negotiations may reach a point where both clubs agree to a move with conditional terms. If the player achieves those requirements, the loan will be extended permanently next summer.

Milan are looking to strengthen their defence ahead of next season, and Kiwior might be an excellent addition to their squad. He did it in Italy previously, and a return could help him regain his peak performance.
