AC Milan will soon add to their team of scouts as Wes Beuvink will begin work in the department from the beginning of next month, according to a report.
According to AD in the Netherlands, elite teams are interested in bright executives and staff personnel as well as players, with Wes Beuvink serving as ‘a beautiful example’.
The 25-year-old scout will leave FC Groningen for AC Milan on April 1, according to the source. Beuvink joined FC Groningen in 2019 and has been the club’s head of scouting since 2020.
It is notable that there has been considerable criticism of the club’s signing policies in recent years, particularly given that they were demoted to the second tier last season, despite the fact that they are currently competing for promotion back to the top flight.
Beuvink had no scouting experience when he arrived in Groningen. The Dutch club signed him after he gained attention on social media for his player assessments.
However, Geoffrey Moncada, Milan’s top scout and technical director, certainly saw something in him, and he will now join the Rossoneri’s activities beginning in the coming months.
