Milan is now set to turn their attention to Roma forward Tammy Abraham after completing a deal for Emerson Royal.
The Rossoneri have been negotiating with Tottenham for the Brazilian full back for weeks, attempting to reduce the price as much as possible, and have now agreed to sign him for €15 million plus approximately €2 million in add-ons.
Milan, who have already signed Alvaro Morata and Strahinja Pavlovic, are also looking for a new centre forward, as Paulo Fonseca lacks choices and depth in his front line. Tammy Abraham has been at the top of their wishlist for several weeks, but things haven’t changed.
Milan move for Tammy Abraham
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan will shortly contact Roma to begin discussions for Tammy Abraham, with a transaction expected to be finalised this summer.
The Rossoneri want to recruit the Englishman on a loan with a buy option to evaluate his match fitness, while the Giallorossi want some simple conditions attached to make the deal permanent.
Everton, Leicester City, and Bournemouth have all been connected with Tammy Abraham, but he prefers a move to Milan, giving Fonseca’s team a significant advantage in negotiations.
