AC Milan have been linked with Armando Broja for many years now and this summer, a move could actually materialise. Having been sent to train with Chelsea’s U21s, the striker could be a mercato opportunity for the Rossoneri.
Milan’s interest in Broja goes back to 2022, and he has been on their radar ever since. He appeared to be a certain name at the start of the summer, but the ties faded, owing primarily to Chelsea’s refusal to accept a loan deal.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the situation may have altered once Broja was barred from using the first-team facilities. Indeed, he is now working with the U21 team, and a move appears to be on the horizon this month.
Regardless of Luka Jovic’s future, Milan wants to add another striker to the squad, and negotiations with Roma over Tammy Abraham are tricky. Broja might become the ideal man as a result, especially because a loan with a buy option is now conceivable.
It remains to be seen whether the Rossoneri will make any tangible moves, but one thing is certain: they are assessing the issue. Broja has already indicated that he would be unable to turn down Milan if they came knocking.
