AC Milan in Serious Battle To Sign 19- Years-Old Star

AC Milan do hold an interest in signing Arda Guler from Real Madrid this summer but the Rossoneri do not want to use a similar style of deal to the one that saw Brahim Diaz spend three years at the club.

According to Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are still interested in signing the Turkish attacker, but only on their own terms.

Milan had Brahim Diaz at the club for three seasons and he proved to be an important player, but it was essentially a three-year loan contract, and Milan had to let him back to the Spanish capital, leaving a hole in their team.

If Milan were to sign Guler, who has played sparingly for Real Madrid this season, they would want the option to buy him at the end of any loan agreement.

The difficulty is that the redemption cost would almost definitely be far higher than the €22 million Real Madrid requested from Milan to sign Brahim on a permanent basis last summer.

Guler’s lack of minutes can be attributed to a significant injury he sustained shortly after arriving in Spain, as well as the established group of attackers that Carlo Ancelotti decided to rely on while Guler recovered.
