BREAKING NEWS: AC Milan 26-Year-old star set to leave club

Theo Hernandez has once again been mentioned as a concrete target for Bayern Munich by Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.

There have been numerous stories circulating that Alphonso Davies wants to leave Bayern Munich and join Real Madrid in the summer, with Theo Hernandez being touted as a potential replacement.

Davies’ contract expires in 2025, and according to Sky Germany earlier this month, Bayern are wanting €50-60 million to let the 23-year-old leave.

Bayern want to be ready in case of a departure, and Theo is ‘one of the top contenders’ to step in and replace Davies. The Frenchman is under contract with the Rossoneri until 2026, but the Bavarians believe a €60-70 million offer will tempt both the club and the player.

Now, Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany has provided an update on Bayern’ pursuit of Davies’ prospective replacement, beginning with confirmation that Chelsea loanee Ian Maatsen is on their radar ‘but nothing definite or hot at this moment’.

His release clause for the summer is around £35 million, or roughly €40 million. If Davies leaves Bayern, Theo Hernández’remains the current choice’ to replace him.

Maatsen and Miguel Gutiérrez, the latter of whom is currently at Girona, are the current options, with the Frenchman being the preferred choice.
